Q:How much is shipping?

We offer free shipping on all orders over $50.00 on standard ground shipped items. In special cases we may apply a freight charge to certain items such as but not limited to: Kayaks, Multiple Storage Boxes, Rod/Reel Combos, Packages over 5lbs or overly large packages that require special shipping. If your order contains any of the previous products or requirement, TackleFreaks.com will let you know of any charges prior to shipping your order. We will only charge you the minimum amount required to offset additional expense. For Example an order of 10 Plano 3700 Boxes would have a freight charge of $1.00 per box after 3 Boxes. So the extra shipping cost would be an additional $7.00. To offset shipping on Kayaks, we may mutually agree with buyer to meet at a location with no shipping charge for delivery.

We can also hold items in store for pickup once they are pre-paid with no shipping charge on any order.

Q:Can I pay with PayPal?

Yes! We take Paypal and all forms of payment. We also take Apple Pay and all major credit cards. You can even pay in store at our storefront location.

Q:How quick should I expect to get my order?

Standard ground shipping will be provided by USPS, Priority Mail. An average of 2-3 days for most areas. All orders received before 2:00CT will be shipped the same day. Customers within 250 mile radius of our location can have their goods delivered next day UPS Ground for only $10.00! Customers who live outside this Radius will incur higher UPS Ground shipping costs. A tracking number will be provided once your order has shipped.

Orders Received after 2:00CT on Fridays, may NOT be processed until the following monday

Q:How do Back-Orders Work?

On most items, you will have the ability to order or purchase an item that is not in stock. We work hard to maintain an available inventory on the hottest fishing products in the country sometimes these items can be sold out quickly. We work to fill our back-orders in a timely manner, which is less than 30 days. If your back order isn't full filled after 30 days we will issue a refund unless you state to hold. 

There is no additional charge on back ordered items for shipping.

In some cases, items that are on back order may actually show in stock. You will be notified via email or phone, or notified on your receipt.

Some items may also be discontinued or on close out. If these items are back-ordered there will be no back-order fee and the transaction will be canceled for the amount that was order that will not be re-stocked.

Also in the event of ordering a product that is not in stock but shows in stock. We will refund you for the amount of that item only and ship the rest of your order. This is the most common solution.

Returns Policy


We accept returns or exchanges in the event of clothing sizes, mis-shipments, wrong order etc. If it's on us, we foot the shipping bill. There is a 30 day return policy for clothing sizes, reel ratios, etc. In that circumstance the customer will pay the shipping cost back to TackleFreaks.com. TackleFreaks will pay the shipping of the new product back to the customer. We do not take returns on used items or faulty products. Please refer to manufacturer with those issue. We will supply you with proof of purchase if needed.



Q:Do you Price Match?

Yes. We will price match any online tackle retailer. A link to price must be provided via customer or a screen shot. Please note, this DOES NOT include Facebook Groups, Ebay, or other Auction Sites. We also do not match closeouts or liquidation items.

Q: Do you have a Pro-Staff or Field Staff?

Yes, we have a Pro-Staff. We select several members a year for our Pro-Staff. Please send us a resume to sales@tacklefreaks.com. and we will look over it. 

Q: I'm a dealer and I want my items on your website. How do I do that?

We only sell the finest and most popular brands of fishing tackle, accessories, and products. However, we also carry several local speciality items that aren't available other parts of the country. We do try to stay away from "Garage Companies". If you think you have an item that should be on our site, please send us an email or mail us a sample. We will get back to you on your best option on adding your item(s) to TackleFreaks.com
